Vahid Mohammadi

“A Few Pieces” is Vahid Mohammadi’s latest project; a multi-media body of work in which the
horizontal lines that once dominated his earlier pieces now tilt into diagonals. The imagery shifts
away from nature and moves toward restless, ever-changing urban landscapes. From sketches
echoing the same brushstrokes found in the paintings, to a video created specifically for this
show, and an angular sculptural piece placed in the vitrine that visually extends the works into
the street; each element returns to a central concern: the relationship between seeing and
reality, and what remains fluid and unstable in between.
A book on Mohammadi’s collected works will be published and unveiled alongside the exhibition,
offering a lasting, coherent view of the artist’s creative journey. This project is part of Lajevardi
Foundation’s ongoing commitment to supporting artists and fostering experimentation across
diverse media.
